On Monday, I spoke to the Aiken noon club. Members include much of the leadership of Aiken. On Monday afternoon, Rotarian Elliott Levy gave us a fabulous tour of the Aiken County Historical Museum complete with stories of the rich and famous who have visited or lived in Aiken. Tuesday breakfast was North Augusta at the River Country Club Clubhouse. Tuesday evening was a joint dinner with Batesburg-Leesville and Twin Cities at a marina on Lake Murray. Wednesday evening and Thursday morning was at Houndslake CC with Aiken Sunrise. In between were Board meetings with the individual clubs. Great stories. Great company. Great food. Thanks to all for a fabulous week.

Week of July 13
Aiken has always been one of my favorite places in SC. This week is typical of why being District Governor is great fun. We had dinner with AG Lyn Kenney on Sunday night.
