Peel back the layers of the great clubs and you find great stories of practicing Rotarians. Tammy Bagwell is a member of the Simpsonville Club. She is a Mortgage Banker with a company called Prime Lending in Mauldin, SC.
A part of my official visit talk has some variation on the following: "Not only has the world in the past year seen some of the sorriest examples of corporate greed and stupidity, we have seen a collapse of ethics in major financial markets. I suspect that many of those subprime mortgages would not have been written if the mortgage broker was thinking “is it beneficial to all concerned.”
